Yeji Kim (she/her) is a NYC-based graphic designer, illustrator, and multidisciplinary artist.
Through her design practice, she has engaged with and addressed topics including climate and environmental justice, blockchain, web3, and AI’s implications on the future of art education, ethical concerns in social media, biomimicry, historical conservation, and food equity in collaboration with various non-profit, cultural, and educational institutions.
When Yeji is not designing, she makes art, bakes killer sourdough, co-runs misplaced press, an independent publisher specializing in experimental books, zines, and exhibitions, volunteers at 8-Ball Community, and looks out the window with her tuxedo cat, Mona.
Past collaborators include: Typographics, UCLA Luskin School of Social Affairs, Herb Lubalin Center for Typography and Design, Poster House, Food Education Fund, Partner & Partners, Museum Hue, East Village Zine Fair, National Audubon Society, Fishbowl (film), and Nonhuman Teachers, among others.
